This week I have been working on putting away produce for the winter. My favorite preservation methods right now are fermenting and freezing. I have posted on social media previously about making farm quiches to freeze – this week I was able to put together four for our freezer using our eggs and sauteed chard, onion, garlic, and chevre from my goats. That’s something we will enjoy in the winter months for a quick breakfast!
What we’re growing:
Salad mix
Orange carrots
Red beets
Rainbow chard
Dino kale
Curly kale
Collard greens
